Well, I'm kinda scared right now. It all started yesterday when I heard Sedro-woolley was starting to flood. The rain only just started pouring fri or sat! Then this morning at work someone said that highway 9 was closed because it was flooded. One of the doctors also said that his daughter who works for the city of Burlington, her work was putting stuff up. So I called Mom to warn Dad not to go where he was gonna go today. While I was on the phone with her, she said that we had been called to suggesting we get our animal otta there. We now have trucks and stuff for backup if it gets worse. I was talking to some people at work and they said that they are stutting down all the schools and are evacuating Sedro-Wooley hospital. Then WE at the clinic got a call that the river by us is gonna crest at 4am tomorrow morn, so we put a lot of stuff up and are trying to find a place for the animals overnight. I'm still going to open tomorrow, but the question is: Am I going to be able to reach it? And if so, is it going to be flooded? Because the dike right in front of our house is very VERY close to being crested itself. Here are some pics:

Its crazy. I've got to keep my cell phone on me at all times in case we have to get all the cars off the lot and get our tools off the floor. they were talking about getting like 5ft of water in the shop.
I hate Floods
Its not going to flood, it's not going to flood, it's not going to flood!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want it to flood :(
It is going to crest at 4pm now, freakin' me out!
Yikes!
I hate rain for a different reason...if it was 10 degrees colder, it would be SNOW for crying out loud!
:-S
Yah I was on call yesturday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. They wanted us to evacuate Homeplace. Thank goodness we didn't need to.
As usual they over predicted and it wasn't nearly as bad as they thought it would be.
Well since we know it's not gonna flood I think you need a new post.
Oh come, isn't a wee bit fun??? Adventurous? We've had a few flash floods around here... They were exciting! (then again, we live on a big hill)
I hate rain, and its raining again.
Rain at this time of the year is the worst.
