The Precious' heart has stopped!

Update on "the Precious",.........its dead! a week ago the engine started rattling when it was first warmed up but I thought it was no big deal. then, coming back from work night before last,it was acting really weird, like when I was acellerating(sp?) and decreasing speed it would be just fine, but when it stayed at a steady speed, it made the worst banging/rattling noise. I told Dad about it and he drove it right away. we barely got to mr olsens when he turned it around and said it was shot. I was kinda paralyzed with shock, it wasnt quite sinking in that my car was as good as dead. Dad took me in the Acura right away that night to see if I could still drive it. its a 5 speed(in other words, completely worthless to me) I can still drive it great, better that Dad expected. I had to drive it to work the next day and when I came in I was shaking so bad! that was the first time I had driven it by myself. I learned how to drive it when I had my permit. whats wrong with my car is that the oil pressure is completely gone so I havta get a whole new engine. Dad looked some up on the Internet and found one in spanaway, close to seattle. we just dropped it off tonight at Daves house, he's gonna put it in for me. we dont have the car there yet, even though its still drivable. I asked Dad if this happened from my driving at all and he said no, its just something that happens usually in just one day and theres nothing to do to repair it. It happened to Dad too when he was younger. He had to change the engines in his Trans Am 3 times before it was suitable. (hot car also:) hopefully Dave will have it good and running by the time the Conference is here. gotta impress the guys :)

p.s. this pic is of what my Dads Trans Am looked like (just in case u were wondering). This type of car used to be my dream car. Dad sold it when I was very young. He said that he'd sit at a stoplight and rev it and I'd giggle in the back every time. guess I had a need for speed even then. :)
